Bollywood Actor Salman Khan, the macho man of bollywood who had been invited by the producers to act as a special celebrity judge on television reality show ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’, refused to shoot for the inaugural episode if his vanity van was not allowed inside the premises.

As the production company had booked Yashraj studio for the shoot and all arrangements had already been made, they were forced to request officials at Yashraj studios to make an exception for Salman Khan and let his vanity van come inside the premises. Sources say that at Yashraj studios it’s a rule that everybody–big or small star of bollywood–has to leave his vanity van outside the gate, and use the make- up rooms provided by the studio for the purpose.

The officials were simply implementing this rule, but Salman Khan would have none of it and forced the producer and channel to make arrangement for his van.

Sources say that Salman Khan’s vanity van had to be allowed by the Yashraj studios as the producer Wizcraft and the television channel feared Sallu would return without shooting his portion of the show. In fact, Salman Khan had done it some years ago when Yashraj studios did not allow his van inside, he simply returned and refused to shoot the film.

Producer Wizcraft did not want Salman Khan to repeat the same and return without shooting. Hence they approached higher ups at Yashraj studios and pulled some strings to bend the rules, so that Salman Khan’s van could enter the premises.

Another theory doing the rounds in the industry is that after his TV show ‘Dus Ka Dum’, Salman Khan has become a hot property for television channels and producers and they do not want to antagonize him at any cost. Though Salman Khan would be present on ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’ only for inaugural show, but the channel thought that even that much would be sufficient to attract viewers.

The grapevine has it that Salman Khan’s television show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ has become so popular with the audience that the channel is already thinking of next season for the show. Of course, Salman would also be retained as its host by paying a huge amount.
